Currently we are only looking for volunteers to work the adoptions fairs on Sunday. Responsibilities include setting up crates, walking dogs, showing dogs to the public and breaking down crates and cleanup. You can fill out a volunteer form by clicking here. Volunteer Form
If you'd like to stop by a fair and get a first-hand look, we invite you to come check out the fair which is held every Sunday at the Healthy Spot, located at 1110 Wilshire in Santa Monica.

Bill Foundation looks to the community and volunteers to help keep its door open. If you would like to help out, donating your time and in-kind services can involve activities such as the following:
 Dog Walkers & Play Date Activities
Many of our dogs are being boarded. These dogs would love to spend some time with you going for a walk, the dog park or playing a game of frizbee. If you have any spare time to socialize with our rescues, I know they would love to see you. Please fill out our Volunteer Form and we’ll contact you.
Foster a Dog
We are in great need of foster homes for our rescues. Our first choice is to place these new rescues in foster homes rather than to board them. Not only does it save the expense of boarding but we get to know the dog and can then match them with the perfect person. If you are interested in helping one of our rescues transition into his new life, please see our Foster A Dog Section of our website.
Adoption Fair Workers
Your time a few hours every other weekend helping us with our pet adoption days will enable us to save and care for more dogs. Please email us if you would like to help make a difference in our dogs' lives. Sorry, we can’t accept volunteers under 21 years of age.
 Grooming
We always want our dogs to look their best for The Sunday Adoption Fairs and some of our rescues are in great need of a makeover.
 Pet Taxi
If you would like to help transport dogs from vets, shelters, owners, or rescue groups give us a call.
Fundraising
We are always in need of help in the fundraising department. If you have experience as a fundraiser for non-profit organizations, we can use your help. If you would like to organize a fundraising event, we could use your help. Any and all ideas are welcome. We also need help with Flyer circulation announcing special events--posting them & keeping them current. We also like to put up flyers at veterinary clinics and pet stores featuring current adoptable dogs.
Office
We are always in need of volunteers who posses organizational abilities--data entry, filing, cross-indexing, communications; those who can help with our mailings,  database and record keeping. If you have any office skills, or just nice penmanship, you can help. We need a qualified bookkeeper or accountant to assist us with setting up and managing our accounts and financial reporting and projections for tax purposes as well as for grant applications and other fundraising activities.
Professionals
We are also in need occasionally of expert advice in legal matters and contracts. We also need help with printing, publications, accounting, editing, and skilled labor.
 Phone work
This would involve making preliminary calls, new family and yearly follow ups, answering inquiries, responding to "dog wanted" ads and general information calls.
 Grant Writing
We are also looking for someone experienced in the grant writing area of fundraising. Currently, most of our funds are from private donations from caring individuals and our adoption fee donations. If you can help us in this area, we need you ASAP!
