langley bday 2A Very Special Birthday for Langley

We'd like you to meet our very happily-ever-after-ending, Langley. This little guy was with Bill Foundation for four or so years. Originally, we believe he was an owner turn-in to the East Valley Shelter. He had four foster homes before finally getting adopted by the neighbors of his last foster mom!

Langley was one of our more "interesting" fosters in that he had quite a few habits that made him slightly less attractive to prospective adopters than many of our other rescues. Langley could be kind of a loner, always in the back of the pack doing his own thing. He could be very stubborn and when he needs to be alone he makes sure you know it. langley bday 3

On the other side, Langley has many endearing qualities as well. He LOVES to play ball and now has about 5 or 6 scattered about his house. He can be relentless with the ball and play for hours, if no ones around to throw it for him, he'll throw it up in the air and chase it around. He puts on quite an entertaining show! He loves to be scratched and lay in the sun and give kisses.

Bill Foundation though has learned throughout the years that there is a lid for every pot. Langley found his lid living right next door. In his new forever home, h is favorite thing is his morning routine. Everyone goes out in the backyard the moment they wake up. While politely waiting in line they enjoy cookie time before having their eyes and teeth cleaned and coats brushed. Langley sits patiently until his turn and really lavishes the attention. Then they have free run of the house and backyard while breakfast is prepared.

Langley has fallen up into quite the gentleman's lifestyle. He prefers his vacation home in Moro Bay to the LA rat race. The family goes up every 5 to 6 weeks for two weeks at a time. A veteran traveller, he has a special console car seat where he can see out. He gets very excited to go in the car. At the Moro Bay house he has a long deck that wraps around the house to play ball on and a little mat to lay out in sun along with the rest of his doggie family. There are lots of windows so they can see all the critters that come and go and bark at them. Langley was adopted into a family and now has three canine siblings, Daisy, Dino and Tripod - all are special needs in some way. He's closest to Tripod, they pal around and will sit together.
