Bingo, Soap Style!

It was back to bingo for Bill Foundation when Patrika Darbo of "Days of Our Lives" hosted a fundraiser during Soaps Week in Los Angeles for the foundation.  This is a yearly event where fans of the show gather for a week long convention celebrating the show and its stars. On Saturday, June 4^th, Patrika and her fellow soap stars came out to help raise money for Bill Foundation. 

Belle Aire and Bingo Boy were there as usual to keep things moving.  The evening was too big for just one guest ball-caller so the stars from "Days of Our Lives" took turns spinning the bingo cage!  The evening was a sellout and a super success.  It was held in one of the banquet rooms at the Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel in Studio City on the upper deck surrounding the pool.  It was a very glamourous evening.

The banquet room was jam packed with guests and excitement. There was a live and silent auction boasting fabulous autographed "Days" memorabilia.  Other games included the always hilarious sticker game; and the ever popular biscuit game. The biscuit game had a wonderful grand prize of a liquor basket complete with a bottle of $100 Dom.

The bingo game prizes were equally exciting for the fans.  Bags filled with "Days" items from each of the show's families spilled over the tables. 

"Days" stars, such as John Engel, Suzanne Rogers and Peggy McCay, were there to meet and greet the fans, provide photo-ops and raise money for this very worthy cause.

The evening raised over $3,000.
