Dog Treats
Everyone knows Halloween means treats. Kids go trick or treating, parties and goodies around the house. As we all also know, your dog should NEVER eat chocolate. So what can you
do so your dog doesn't feel left out? But not spend a leg and a paw? And you like to cook --- why make your own dog treats of course. Below are several recipes sure to please any dog. All treats can be frozen to be brought out during the
upcoming holiday season. This can also be a fun project with your family and friends, especially if you decorate for the season. Enjoy.
When you're cooking for your dog, steer clear of using ingredients that are toxic to him or her such
as chocolate, coffee, citrus oils, grapes/raisins, macadamia nuts, walnuts, mushrooms and onions.
Remember that some methods of cooking or heating actually deplete some of the food's most important nutrients. However, if you make
dog treats instead of buying those that are commercially made, you'll know exactly what your pet is eating, and can rest assured there are no harmful preservatives or chemicals being added.
One of the many recipes for homemade dog treats that use all-natural ingredients is a great way to be really sure your dog will
thrive with healthy, safe food.
And remember with the holidays fast approaching, these treats make wonderful gifts for your friends.
