TBF Receives Two Very Special Gifts

For the third year in a row, the Bill Foundation has been a recipient of a grant from the Mary Jo and Hank Greenberg Animal Welfare Foundation.  Baseball Hall of Fame-er, Hank Greenberg, and his wife set up a foundation to help animal causes and issues. While Mr. Greenberg passed away in 1986, his widow has continued their philanthorpic vision and to be a very big supporter of The Bill Foundation.

We want to take the opportunity to thank them for their continued belief in the work that the Bill Foundation is doing for the homeless dogs of Los Angeles.

The Bill Foundation was also unexpectedly the proud recipient of a donation from The Bandana World Company

This June, we received a very special donation from a first grade class at the Willows Community School in Culver City.  This group of industrious first graders under the direction of their teacher, Ronit Liberman, designed and sold bandanas at their school.  After selling all of their bandanas the class voted to donate the profits to charity and chose the Bill Foundation as the benefactor.

Below are two of the letters sent to us from the first graders explaining why they chose the Bill Foundation.  It is very inspirational to see children concerned with the plight of homeless animals, especially at such a young age.

Thank you Willows Community School for caring to make a difference.
