From Pound to Found Documentary
UPDATE: Film makers win award. In addition to the Pound to Found documentary, Impact Entertainment has also produced a video
interview segment featuring the Bill Foundation volunteers. Well now this short has won an award. Check it out at:
It has been a busy year for filmmakers Deb Llanos and Patrick Yonally of Impact Entertainment . They have just finished
principal photography on their upcoming documentary "And Now I'm Found" (previously "From Pound to Found") featuring the Bill Foundation. Deb
commented "Jo has been so instrumental with access to the mosaic world of dog rescue. She has given us such an intimate and emotional portrait of her relentless commitment to
running a nonprofit rescue group." Stay updated with the progress of the documentary by clicking here "And Now I'm Found"
In addition to the documentary Deb and Pat decided to create a 'volunteer promo' video for the Bill Foundation which debuted at the 'Have a Heart' adoption fair this
past Valentine's Day. The video features the staff and volunteers of the Bill Foundation doing what they do best. Deb and Pat wish to thank everyone who
contributed their time and who gave such thoughtful insight on being a volunteer, because you can never have too many volunteers. Check out the video on the Nine Square Feet Films.
We are very excited to announce that Bill Foundation will
be featured in an upcoming documentary about the world of animal rescue entitled "From Pound to Found". Documentarians, Deborah Llanos Yonally and her husband,
Patrick Yonally, of Impact Entertainment along with Nine Square Feet Films are producing the film.
Deb and Patrick visited the Sunday Adoption Fair to film the various animals, interview some of the volunteers and pet parents, and of course Jo & Peter Forman, founders of Bill Foundation.
Deborah tells us, "The documentary is an in-depth look at the journey
of the rescue dog and the drive and dedication of their rescuers.
The Bill Foundation is one of several canine rescue organizations they will be following, along with adopters and other professionals in the rescue industry."
They began filming on Christmas 2007 and will be in production for a full year through to Xmas 2008.
