From South Central to South Hampton

Shelby, one of our 2002 alumni is living the life most dogs only dream about, or people for that matter.  This adorable terrier was rescued from South Central just in the nick of time as she almost died of a very serious illness. But, she fully recovered thanks to TBF and her new family.  Adopted by Sex in The City producer Darren Starr, she has now become quite the traveler, splitting her time between the West & East coasts. When not summering in the Hamptons, or working in New York, she returns to the West Coast via a private jet.

But if that weren't enough, she has also become quite the celebrity in her own right.  Shelby is now appearing with Kim Cattrall in the ASPCA Emergency Pet Preparedness public service announcement.  After 9/11 when many pets were left without homes or owners couldn't return home to retrieve their pets, the ASPCA put together advice on being prepared for a disaster to ensure your pet's safety.  You can view the ASPCA Emergency Preparedness PSA and see our little Shelby in action and get prepared all with one click!
